Care of elderly and sick people
A number of countries aim to reserve their hospitals for the intensive care patients. A large number of elderly and patients are to be treated and cared for in less resource demanding institutions or in their own home. This means that a number of treatment and service functions are being moved and that new needs are appearing – e.g. to monitor and document the quality of the patients’ indoor climate.
Documentation
IC-Meter documents conditions related to temperature, humidity and fresh air (CO2 and air turnover) with statistics distributed on when there are persons present in the room and when there is not. This data is relevant for the authorities as well as for the patients and their relatives.
