Your smartphone can supply the location of the room being the current GPS location of your smartphone. The GPS coordinates are necessary in order to locate the corresponding local weather forecast.
In case you are using an ordinary computer you can add the GPS coordinates later. The GPS coordinates can be uploaded by activating the button ‘Get current position’ (Settings/Boxes/Box Settings).
- Enter floor area in m2
- Enter ceiling height in meters
- Do not fill in ’Heat Reuse’ – only used for energy analysis.
You can publish your month statistics and/or current values of the indoor climate, just by scanning the QR code, see the stickers enclosed in the box. Default is OFF, so you should give your accept to publish.
- If you accept ’Share all public’ everybody that knows the box ID /the QR code will have access to the actual indoor meter data.
- If you accept ”Share stat public” all others will be able to view only your month statistics.
- Click ”Save settings”.Data can now be viewed by scanning the QR code or by entering the full web address of the box.
In case the box is located in a meeting room, class room and public places, it can be ideal to give others access to both the online measuring as well as to the month statistics. On the other hand, you should be cautious when giving access for private homes or for other places, where you would not wish others to follow the situation. You should reject this kind of data sharing.
You can choose to share all your data with other users. Access to the full APP includes the complete viewings of measuring, weather forecasts, key values and statistics. This only requires that these persons have created a use on www.ic-meter.com
This can anyone do whether they are owners of a box or not.
Enter username (typically an email address) of the user with whom you wish to share data in the IC-Meter system.
The persons who can view your data cannot do any changes in the personal data nor can they forward data or delete the box.
– Click on “Add share”.
When you have finished:
– Click “Save settings”
Remember that when you give other users right to see your complete data, you share a number of information about your locations, including information when you are present in the this room. Therefore, be cautious about how you like to share your IC-Meter data with.
